Town of Kent – 6.0 Acres.
Preserve Overview: These six acres consist mostly of sedge and young red maple marsh. Located near the headwaters of the Peekskill Hollow Brook, this wetland acts as a filter, keeping waters downstream clear and allowing fish and other wildlife to prosper. Bring waterproof boots or waders. From Rt. 52 in Carmel, take Rt. 301. Go 4.9 miles and turn left onto Peekskill Hollow Road. Continue 1.8 miles. The preserve is on the left. As of June 2013, there is no sign.
