Join our friends at Great Hollow Nature Preserve on May 1st at Noon for an afternoon full of family fun! They will have a barbecue, live music, guided hikes, and several demonstrations. At 1pm there will be a speaking ceremony with owner Gary Goldring, Attorney General George Jepson, New Fairfield First Selectman Susan Chapman, and Sherman First Selectman Clay Cope. Several other conservation-minded organizations will be present as well including: Naromi Land Trust, Oblong Land Conservancy, Weantinoge, Friends of the Great Swamp, New Fairfield Land Trust, Preserve New Fairfield, The Wildlife Line, Two Coyotes, Mad Gardeners Association, Happy Acres Farm, Candlewood Lake Authority, and Harlem Valley Appalachian Trail Committee.
